“Pops on the River”
Join us for our annual Pops on the River concert as we open the season of celebration with a rousing repertoire of patriotic music. Our special guest orator, KALB-TV's Sherman Desselle, will narrate Copland's "Lincoln Portrait". Guest vocalist Quianna Lynell will dazzle you with American favorites and it all concludes with fireworks over the Red River. Seating is open to the public and reserved tables are available for purchase.

A consummate musician recognized for her grace,
subtlety and vitality, Orli Shaham has established an
impressive international reputation as one of todayís most
gifted pianists. The New York Times called her a "brilliant
pianist." The Chicago Tribune recently referred to her as
"a first-rate Mozartean."
Orli Shaham has performed with nearly all of the major
symphony orchestras in North America, from Boston to
Los Angeles and everywhere in between, as well as some
of the most important orchestras in Europe, Asia and
Australia including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and many more.
Orli Shaham's interactive concert series for young children, "Baby Got Bach", is included in New York Magazine's "Best of New York" list.
In addition to her musical education at the Juilliard School, Orli Shaham holds a bachelor's degree in history from Columbia University and pursued a masterís degree in musicology at Columbia.

“Celebrating the Holidays with Jazz”
Allen Vizzutti has visited 40 countries and every state
in the union and performed at the Hollywood Bowl,
Carnegie Hall, Newport Jazz Festival, Banff Center for the
Performing Arts, Montreaux Jazz Festival, the Teton, Vail,
Aspen and Brechenridge Music Festivals, the Charles Ives
Center and Lincoln Center in New York City to name a
Allen's solo jazz recordings include CDs such as,
"Ritzville", (Village Place Music), and "Trumpet Summit"
and "Skyrocket" from Summit Records. As Artist in
Residence, Allen has taught at various schools and universities. He is currently
Artist In Residency at the University of South Carolina.
While living in Los Angeles during the 80's, Allen performed on over 100 motion picture sound tracks, (such as Back To The Future and Star Trek), as well as countless TV shows, commercials and recordings with such artists as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Chick Corea, the Commodores and Prince.
His soaring sounds can be heard on recent projects including the movies "Furry Vengeance", "40 Days and 40 Nights", "Unfaithfully Yours", "Gridiron Gang", "Scary Movie Four", and the "Medal of Honor", "Gears Of War 3" and "Halo" video games.
